Vanessa Parmar - Speech-Language Therapist
I am a qualified Speech-Language Therapist with a BSc. (hons.) in Speech and Language Therapy from Birmingham City University in the UK. I have 14 years of experience working with children and adults of all ages. I have worked in New Zealand for over 8 years.
I have supported people with communication difficulties as a result of delayed development, intellectual disability, physical disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Dyspraxia, Traumatic Brain Injury and Global Developmental Delay.
I am used to working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing joint intervention and a holistic approach to therapy. I can consult with other professionals already working with you, to ensure my service is collaborative and centred around your child.
