I can't say enough about how grateful we are to Vanessa for all the help she gave us.  Our wee girl was diagnosed, by Vanessa, with Verbal Dyspraxia when she was 3.  Vanessa showed great patience and empathy and even went as far as asking one of her colleagues if there was another parent in the area who could be a support to us.  It was hugely helpful.  We hadn't even heard of Verbal Dyspraxia at that stage.  You expect the people supporting you and guiding you through some of the hardest processes in life to be exceptional....and Vanessa is!

Due to concern regarding my 4 year old son's difficulty with word recall, an occasional speech stammer and the effect this may have on his ability and/or desire to fully engage in education, we were referred for Speech Language Therapy with Vanessa.
In our first session, Vanessa quickly developed a rapport with my son, offering him fun yet challenging activities to assess and develop his skills. As a parent I appreciated Vanessa's professional recognition of the subtleties of my son's issues. Vanessa's written report clearly identified my son's developmental stage and offered suggestions on how to incorporate the activities meaningfully into our daily routine in order to progress his abilities.
